Bright Hope Family Farm, LLC. Farm Crew Job Description

Farm Crew workers are responsible for daily farm operations, including hoop house management, bed prep, weed management, irrigation systems, harvesting, post-harvest handling, cut flower care, distribution, record keeping, and soil health management. The majority of work requires the physical capability to contribute daily in a fast paced agricultural setting, creating an incredibly rewarding, yet demanding work environment and life experience. A positive attitude and attention to detail are critical. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to the full growing season. Training and educational opportunities are available.

We are looking for positive, reliable, responsible, and hardworking individuals who are able to follow directions and communicate well with others. A passion for growing food/flowers is essential. You must be a team player, open to learning new things, punctual, and be able to work in all weather conditions. Be prepared for rain, snow, intense sun, wind, cold and heat each day in the field. Previous farm or related experience preferred.

Must be 17 years or older, in good physical condition, and able to lift 40 pounds. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from the farm are required. Must be able to pass background check. The farm is a non-smoking and drug free environment.

Schedule: 4 - 8 hour shift; 2-5 days/wk

Pay: Based on experience; $11-$16/hr
