Meet your farmers

The farm started in 2017 with a crop of garlic and a lot of hope. In the first seasons we were growing vegetables and tucking a few rows of flowers in here and there. Over the last few years we have transitioned into growing primarily flowers. We have truly fallen in love with growing flowers for our community!

Our passion is connecting soil health with plant health and how they correlate to benefit our customers by providing a high-quality product. We have a keen interest in developing rich soil, full of life to grow the healthiest flowers with the most vibrant blooms possible. 

Growing up, my mom had a small greenhouse and garden that I (Lainey) reluctantly helped her with. As the years went by, I finally caught the “farming bug” and now I can’t imagine doing anything else as a career. Farming is a part of me.

My husband Andy and I work together on the farm. Our two children can often be found in the field playing king of the mulch pile and digging for earthworms. It gives us great joy to see them learn and grow on the farm along with us.

Bright Hope Family Farm strives to provide cut flowers grown with ecological integrity for our community using no-till farming practices. At our farm we work hard to improve the soil and environment. Our passion dwells in farming for future generations.
