How to have the longest vase life for your flowers!

I wanted to share vase life tips with you to help your cut flowers have the longest vase life possible. Check out these steps below!

  1. Give your bouquet a fresh cut when you get home.

  2. Use sharp pruners!

  3. Place the bouquet in a clean vase and fresh water.

  4. If you wouldn’t drink out of the vase, your flowers won’t want to either.

  5. Keep the bouquet out of direct sunlight.

  6. Check the water level of your vase every couple of days.

  7. Change the vase water every 2 to 3 days!

  8. Give your bouquet another fresh cut with sharp pruners or scissors.

Here's what we do on the farm before you get your bouquet to ensure you get quality cut flowers

-Use clean buckets

-Clean & sharpen our pruners

-Use floral food on certain flowers and chlorine tabs on others

-Harvest flowers in the morning at the proper stage

-Put flowers in our cooler overnight to ensure the flowers are hydrated

-Our cooler creates a cool, dark environment that is perfect for your flowers to rest in

Share this with your flower-loving friends to help their flowers have a long vase life, too! Reach out with any questions. We are happy to help!
